1. Crayfish burrow into the banks and after a couple of years it looks like a honey-cone of holes which collapses and bank erosion takes place.
2.The presence of Signal crayfish has a detrimental effect on your small fish stock.
3. They will in time totally over-populate your water, a good cull is always benifical.
